The #1 easiest way to transfer an image onto polymer clay, ever!
With a 200 dpi image, a sheet of MTP, and a laser printer, you can make fool-proof transfers of art or images onto polymer clay in about 10 minutes, with no hassle and no fuss!

If you are like many polymer clay enthusiasts, you have tried to make image transfers onto polymer clay. There are many ways to do this, but we've discovered the absolute best way- with a cellulose paper that dissolves almost instantly in water.
You must purchase either pre-printed transfer sheets or use MTP and a laser printer ONLY. Because it is water-soluble, you must never use this paper in an inkjet printer - please don't try, you will ruin the paper and the printer. MTP works just fine in office supply store color laser printers, just tell them it is a special vellum and that it is for LASER/TONER only, not ink.
Magic Transfer Paper is so easy to use- just cut out your laser-printed image, leaving very little white space around it.
Then, rub it face down onto the piece of light-colored, oven-bake polymer clay that you wish to use. We have discovered that Studio by Sculpey in Whipped Cream makes a very crisp, clear image. The Buttercream color, featured below, works well for a vintage image because it's an antique white color. It has been tested with Premo, Sculpey III, Fimo and Cernit with good results.
Do not leave the paper in contact with your clay for more than 10 minutes. In fact, about 1 minute of burnishing, and then a quick rinse under gently running water, will do the trick.

Then, simply let the pieces dry and bake them as directed on the clay package. It's that easy!
No more fooling around with transfer techniques.
